Description
The KNKE pneumatic diaphragm pump uses compressed air as its power source. It is suitable for transferring various types of corrosive liquids, particle-laden liquids, high viscosity, volatile, flammable, and toxic liquids. The KNKE pneumatic diaphragm pump can transport both flowing liquids and those with poor fluidity. It integrates the functions of self-priming pumps, submersible pumps, slurry pumps, and impurity pumps, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

Key Features of KNKE Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump
- Self-Priming Capabilities: No priming is required, with a suction lift of up to 7 meters for clean water, and a head of up to 50 meters. The discharge pressure is ≥6 kgf/cm².
- Wide Flow Channels: The pump has good passing performance, allowing large particles (up to 10 mm) to pass through with minimal wear when transferring slurry or impurities.
- Adjustable Flow and Head: The flow and head can be adjusted by changing the air valve opening (air pressure adjustment between 1-7 kg/cm²).
- No Rotating Parts: The pump has no rotating components or shaft seals. The diaphragm isolates the medium being transported from the pump’s moving parts and the working medium, which prevents leaks and minimizes environmental and safety risks when transporting toxic or corrosive media.
- No Electricity Required: Safe and reliable for use in flammable and explosive environments.
- Submersible Operation: It can work while submerged in the medium.
- Easy Operation and Reliable Performance: The pump can be easily turned on or off by simply opening or closing the air valve. Even if it runs dry or suddenly stops due to unexpected situations, it will not be damaged.
- Simple Structure, Fewer Wear Parts: The diaphragm pump is simple in design, easy to install and maintain. The transported medium does not come into contact with the air distribution valve, connecting rods, or other moving parts, avoiding performance decline caused by wear, as seen in other pumps with rotors, pistons, gears, and vanes.
- Suitable for High-Viscosity Liquids: Capable of pumping liquids with a viscosity of up to 10,000 cP.
- No Lubrication Required: The pump does not require oil lubrication, and it can run dry without affecting performance, which is a key feature of this pump.

Key Considerations for Using KNKE Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump
- Vibration is Minimal: Normally, no mounting bolts are needed.
- Air Quality: Dirty compressed air can hinder normal pump operation, so it is recommended to use an air filter regulator.
- Handling Freezing Media: Install a valve at the pump inlet to prevent difficulties during restarting. Before shutting down, close the valve and run the pump for a few minutes to clear out the medium.
- Diaphragm Replacement: When replacing the diaphragm, clean the pump rod and copper sleeve thoroughly. Avoid damaging the white PTFE sealing ring during reassembly.
