Description
The KNKE Electromagnetic Flow Meter for water applications is designed to measure the volume flow of conductive liquids with a conductivity greater than 5μS/cm. It operates on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction and is ideal for measuring the flow of general conductive liquids, as well as highly corrosive liquids such as strong acids and alkalis, slurries, and mineral or paper pulp. This instrument is commonly used in industries like petrochemical, metallurgy, light textile, papermaking, environmental protection, food processing, municipal management, water conservancy construction, and river dredging, ensuring precise flow measurement in a wide range of industrial applications.
Key Features
-
Advanced Digital Processing: Fully digital signal processing ensures high reliability, strong anti-interference capability, and high accuracy with a flow measurement range of up to 150:1.
-
Low EMI Power Supply: The low electromagnetic interference (EMI) switch-mode power supply ensures stable operation even under varying voltage conditions.
-
Embedded Microprocessor: Equipped with a 16-bit embedded microprocessor, it ensures fast processing speed, high precision, and low power consumption, along with programmable low-frequency square wave excitation for improved stability.
-
No Moving Parts: With no moving parts or obstructive components in the measurement tube, the flow meter ensures almost zero pressure loss during measurement.
-
On-Site Range Adjustment: The flow range can be adjusted on-site based on user requirements.
-
Physical Parameters Independence: The measurement results are independent of fluid velocity distribution, pressure, temperature, density, and viscosity, ensuring accurate readings.
-
Clear Display: The flow meter features a high-definition, backlit LCD display with a full Chinese menu for easy operation, making it user-friendly and simple to understand.
-
Digital Communication Outputs: The meter supports RS485, RS232, Hart, and Modbus digital communication outputs (optional).
-
Self-Diagnosis Function: The device includes self-diagnosis and fault detection capabilities, ensuring smooth operation.
-
Accumulation Function: With three built-in accumulators, the meter can display forward, reverse, and differential accumulated flow readings. It also features an internal clock that can record up to 16 power-down events (optional).
-
Remote Operation: The optional infrared handheld operator allows remote, non-contact operation of all meter functions via 115kHz communication.
Applications
The KNKE Electromagnetic Flow Meter for Water Applications is suitable for measuring the flow of various conductive fluids, including potable water, sewage, slurry, and industrial wastewater. It can be used in industries like petrochemicals, chemical manufacturing, food processing, environmental protection, and municipal water management. The flow meter is also widely used in water conservancy projects, river dredging, and similar fields where precise fluid flow measurement is critical.
