Description
Overview of KNKE Electric Cast Iron Gate Valve
The KNKE Electric Cast Iron Gate Valve is designed to provide efficient flow control in high-pressure systems. It consists of a multi-turn electric actuator and a cast iron valve body. The electric actuator controls the valve’s opening and closing operations, which can be remotely controlled from the control room or operated manually on-site. Additionally, it can integrate with a computer system for automatic control.
The valve is widely used in industries such as oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, and power generation. It operates effectively in pipelines that handle steam, water, and oils, with a nominal pressure of ≤ 1.0 MPa.

Commissioning Method
- Set the electric actuator to the neutral position manually.
- Connect the AC380 power supply; the power indicator will light up. If the power phase is missing, the phase-missing indicator will light up.
- Set the DIP switch for the correct operation mode.
- For positive operation, adjust the position feedback signal. Set the electric actuator to the fully closed position and adjust the “Zero” potentiometer to make the voltage across the test points close to zero (≤2mV). Adjust the “4mA” potentiometer to set the output signal to 4mA. Set the actuator to the fully open position and adjust the “20mA” potentiometer to achieve a 20mA output signal.
- To ensure precision, adjust the sensitivity of the actuator. A small sensitivity offers higher positioning accuracy, while larger sensitivity reduces oscillation but may affect precision. Adjust until the actuator runs smoothly without oscillations.
- In the event of a lost control signal, the signal loss indicator will light up.
- If the valve becomes locked in either the open or closed position, simply operate it in the opposite direction for 3 seconds to release the lock.
