Description
1. Overview of KNKE Pneumatic High-Pressure Ball Valve
The KNKE pneumatic high-pressure ball valve features a double (single) acting pneumatic piston actuator combined with a high-pressure ball valve body. It operates as a new type of valve for automatic and remote control, making it suitable for high-pressure pipelines in applications such as gas stations and tankers. The valve is available with multiple connection types, including internal thread (G/NPT), welding, and collar fittings.
The pneumatic piston actuator is made from low-friction materials, and its inner and outer surfaces are treated with hard anodic oxidation for corrosion resistance. This significantly extends the actuator’s lifespan, ensuring reliable operation over time.

3. Working Principle of Pneumatic High-Pressure Ball Valve
When the pneumatic actuator is connected to the circuit and air supply, air enters Cylinder A (or B) through pipe A or B, driving the piston to move in one direction. This movement causes the rotary shaft and ball core to rotate 90°, thereby opening or closing the valve.
- The actuator’s top-mounted indicator shows whether the valve is open or closed. When the green indicator points to “OPEN,” the valve is in the open position.
- The feedback signal lights indicate the valve’s position: green light for open and red light for closed.
- The positioner allows fine adjustment of the valve’s flow control, ensuring precise operation.
